Performance

Toyota offers two types of powertrains with the Corolla Cross. Traditional models run on 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engines that pump out 169 horsepower and 151 pound-feet of torque. These engines can work with all-wheel or front-wheel drivetrains, so you can decide whether you'd benefit from additional traction as you travel around Orchard Park.

With one of these engines, the Corolla Cross can operate efficiently, earning up to 31 miles per gallon in the city and 33 miles per gallon on the highway.

The other option is to get a hybrid system that consists of a 2.0-liter engine along with an electric motor. Hybrid Corolla Cross models come standard with all-wheel drive, and they can earn 45 miles per gallon on city roads near Grand Island and 38 miles per gallon on the highway. Also important is the fact that they're more powerful than their counterparts. They can make 196 horsepower.

Safety and Technology

Thanks to the Toyota Safety Sense™ 3.0 suite, the Corolla Cross has multiple driver-assist technologies. This suite includes a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, and lane departure alert with steering assist. You'll feel more confident on Buffalo area roads knowing that your vehicle can warn you about problems and help you escape troubling situations. Also, when traveling, you can use Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, and SiriusXM®. You'll have an easy way to stay connected to others, access some of your apps, and find things to listen to. The touchscreen in the Corolla Cross measures eight inches, so it's pretty prominent.
