The paint on this 442 is one not often seen, making this 442 stand out. This car underwent a full restoration previously, bringing the car to a great example. All body lines and panels on the car are straight and show no signs of misalignment or accidents. All chrome on this 442 is in great condition, showing no signs of pitting or corrosion all around the vehicle. This 442 is optioned with Oldsâ W-29 package. Coded W29, the 442 Appearance and Handling Package for 1972 consisted of hood, bodyside, and decklid striping; hood louvers; 442 grilles and emblems; wheel-opening moldings; FE2 Rallye Suspension (with heavy-duty front and rear coil springs and shocks, front/rear anti-roll bars, boxed lower rear control arms, and wider 14 x 7 wheels); and a Hurst floor-shifter for the three-speed manual transmission. Also, available with any motor. This olds is also equipped with a numbers matching âRocketâ 455ci V8, an available motor option for that year.
